Knockburn Loch is the ideal for location for any Scout or Guide group.
We can take any size of group large or small and have the capability of having multiple groups onsite at any one time.
Knockburn Loch is available all year round and it's a very easy booking process.
For overnight camping the cost per head is £6.50 plus VAT
We do not charge for group leaders.
We also have the indoor space available in the sports academy, the sports academy has a small kitchen area and a large sports hall which is ideal for games and mealtimes.
The cost to hire the sports academy along with a Scout or Guides group booking of 20 or more is £100 per day.

Activity options
Be prepared for adventure at Knockburn Loch.
Located a couple of miles outside Banchory we have a secure and safe site for all children and visitors.
You can do the adventure part of the session as a standalone booking or you can combine it with an overnight booking. (See above for overnight details)
The water side of activities is where we excel and where the enjoyment is for most children. We tend to get on the Super Jumbo SUP’s first, each Jumbo SUP holds around 15-20 children depending on the size of the children. After the fun and hilarity of the Jumbos it’s onto the solo or paired SUP boards, if that wasn’t enough, we have all the single and paired kayaks available for the children to use.
We also have options for land based activities, these include soft archery, volleyball, the rotating climbing wall, sports day, orienteering, basketball, shelter building & bush craft, slacklines and so much more.
The cost per head is £25 including VAT and is based on a minimum group size of 20
Children are required to bring a towel, and old pair or trainers of neoprene shoes that can be worn on the water. Children need to bring a swimming costume to wear under the supplied wetsuits, if children have their own wetsuit, they can bring these if they wish.
