Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th August 2018

After the success of the 2016 and 17 events we have once again expanded the event to include a kids event on the Saturday and the ability to race as a team in the adults race. Come and be apart of this unique event, one of a kind in Scotland - a Stand Up Paddle Board Triathlon.  

Saturday 11th August. Stand Up Paddle Board Master Class:

Never been on a Stand Up Paddle Board? Or want to brush up on your skills? Then why not book onto one of our masterclasses?

We will be running a series of master class during the day on Saturday between 9am and 3pm.

You will also have the chance to check out the course as well. 

Session Times: 

  • 9:30 - 10:30am  - Adults and Kids Session 

  • 10:30 - 11:30am  - Adults and Kids Session 

  • 11:30 am - 12:30pm  - Adults and Kids Session  

  • 1 - 2pm - Adults and Kids Session 

  • 2 - 3pm - Adults and Kids Session 


Adults: £15 per session 

Kids: £5 if entering the race, £15 if they are only doing the masterclass. 

Adult and Kids sessions will be run separately, although parents are welcome to book in with their children if they like. ​

Saturday 11th August - Kids Race

Age Groups (Age on day of the event):

  • 6 - 8 year olds

  • 9 - 12 year olds

  • 12 - 14 years olds



Have not yet been confirmed, however bike and run will be similar to that of TriStar / Triathlon Distances. To get an idea, click on this LINK

Sunday 12th August - Adults Race


Distance: 1400m SUP (increased for 2017),  10km off-road bike,  3km cross-country run

  • Standard Entry: £29

Team / Relay (2 or 3 people):

  • Early Bird (enter before 1st June): £53

  • Standard Entry: £59

Approximate start time: 10am TBC

Important information: 
  • SUPs will be provided and allocated on a random basis.
  • Bike course is only suitable for mountain or cyclo-cross bikes (NO ROAD BIKES)
  • Buoyancy aids are compulsory, these will be supplied.

  • Prizes for separate Male / Female First, Second and Third place.
  • Medals and T-shirts for all competitors. 
  • Competitors are welcome to camp at Knockburn on the Saturday night. 
  • There will be a small fee for card transactions. 
  • Competitors will be taking part at their own risk
  • Competitors under 18, parent / guardian  needs to remain on site during the event. 
  • Course Maps and Race manual will be released near the event.
  • Event organisers have the right to amend the course right up until the start of the race. 
  • Racing against friends or workmates and want to enter in the same wave - make sure when you enter you use the same 'club / team' name. Will will then do our best to make sure you are in the same wave.
