It’s that time of year again that we have our amazing Easter kids club.
The drop off time each day is between 8.30am - 9.00am, each day you arrive at the conference centre reception and sign your child / children in with the team. You will need to have your completed consent form with you on day one or you can email it into Knockburn the week before the camp.
Child collection is between 3.30pm – 4.00pm each day. We must close down the site and leave by 4.15pm so we kindly request that prompt collection by 4.00pm is adhered to.
Equipment:
Children are required to have a change of clothing and if possible, waterproofs, plus an old pair of trainers, if they have walking boots then those will be perfect. A small day sac is required too. A road worthy bike with lights is also required along with a CE approved cycle helmet. (can in some cases supply a bike on a rental basis)
We will need bikes Monday morning, they will stay here for the week. During the week we will cover basic bike maintenance such as fixing a puncture and resetting a slipped bike chain.
Parents are asked to make up all children’s items with a name label and ensure on a daily basis that they have gathered up all of their child’s belongings.
Food / Lunch :
A packed lunch required plus morning and afternoon snacks for each day. Children need to have drinks so a water bottle with their name on it is ideal.
Medical :
Please ensure you make the team aware of any allergies or medical information this can be done on the consent form but we would also ask that you do this verbally on the first morning of the camp. Please ensure you bring items such as Inhalers & medicines and they are clearly marked with your child’s name.
Once the children arrive home after a day of the kids club, parents are required to check for Ticks on a daily basis.
The age range for our kids camps are : 8 – 14 years old.
Our normal activities include a variety of those listed below and any more exciting things we can come up with..
